Get These Men’s Style Looks Now

My favorite men are the ones who aren’t afraid to follow new trends. I want the men who know how to dress themselves fashionably. Seriously, biggest turn on is when a guy has his own great sense of style that shows off his personality. I am aware that not all straight men are blessed with the ability to create amazing outfits… so if this blog doesn’t help the ones who weren’t naturally blessed, well boi bye.

The biggest thing for men I think is to really invest in classic pieces. Men can get away with wearing similar styled outfits in neutral colors, so it’s best to buy quality designer pieces that have a tailored fit. This mainly applies to the men in the workforce that are dressing in suits or business attire Monday through Friday. If this is not you just quite yet, keep reading to find trends in your age range.

I love checking out men’s trends. If you ever think I’m checking you out, I’m not.. I’m just looking at what men are wearing and noticing new the trends in their clothing. Unless you’re really cute, then I am totally checking out a lot more than your fashion choices… but I won’t be the one admit it.

We all have those awful things in our closet that we once wore and thought that they were the greatest things ever.. I like to liken these horrid pieces of clothing to a high school boyfriend. You thought he was great for 5 minutes then you kept him around a lot longer than you should have. You regret the whole thing because he never knew how to dress and would bring your style game down hard. Honestly, this dude needed to be dumped a hell of a lot sooner. Sounds super relatable, right girls??

Now that he’s dumped, let’s get on with some cool men’s street style inspiration so we know what to look for in the next guy. One thing that gets me is a guy in a cool jean jacket. Bonus men-in-double-denim-jacket-jeanspoints if they pair it with a scarf when it’s cold out! You can also wear this with a patterned neck tie scarf when it’s not cold outside (bandanas are my go to for this look). I was recently in Chicago and saw a man rocking this specific look, wearing a chunky black scarf, and you already know I checked out more than just his fashion choices 😉

Another style that I love on men is camo. There is just something about this traditionally manly pattern that makes men look extremely stylish and 9 times out of 10 really hot. Just make sure you buy the right camo and you wear it with confidence. For inspiration on men’s camo, check out Valentino’s Spring ’17 line for men. Below are some pictures of Valentino’s line. I am obsessed with his camo print shoes. If I can’t get these in a women’s size 10 then I guess I’ll just be forced to date a guy who owns a pair.

Next, I am ALWAYS ALWAYS looking at the shoes that men are wearing. You can be attractive with a good outfit, but if your shoe game sucks I will dismiss you. Footwear for men may be the most important thing in your wardrobe. All the more reason to buy those Valentino camo shoes above, right?! Street sneakers and flats are awesome for men because they make your outfits look cool yet can still be worn comfortably around the city. Don’t be afraid to get a shoe in a loud color or pattern.. I love a man who will take bold choices with this fashion, especially in footwear.

For more men’s style fashion looks, hop onto my Men’s Style board on Pinterest. I put a few of my favorite looks from my board down below. Guys, it’s time to be bold with your clothing choices. You’re not going to loose your man card if you go for that neck scarf look that you’ve been wanting to try. Confidence is key and speaking for most women here, we are more interested in you and inclined to talk to you if your outfit is visually stimulating. Impress me boys, I’ll be watching.

I am a 19 year old from Tulsa that is engulfed in a world of fashion. From modeling, styling, and writing about fashion I can say that I have lots of knowledge concerning the fashion industry. I am continuing to follow my passion of fashion at FIDM in Los Angeles, and plan to graduate December of 2018. I have big dreams of making my mark on the fashion industry. Eventually I hope my career allows me to live in Manhattan working in the industry that I love, and giving me the opportunity to travel the world for fashion weeks and other fashion related ventures.
