Wearing Exactly What Grandma Told Us Not to Wear in Public

As we have seen much more from our favorite style goddess celebs, it is perfectly acceptable to rock your lingerie outside of the bedroom. Kendall Jenner is the queen of sheer tops and I too would like to follow what the queen is wearing. For those who do not like lingerie, or do not own any, never fear! This look can be interchanged with a lacy bralette or low cut tops. The secret to pulling off lingerie in public is to pair it with more normal or sophisticated clothes so that you remain classy. For my look, I wore a black img_0003teddy from Victoria’s Secret under my high waisted military pants. To top my look off I threw on my metallic bomber jacket and some black pumps. The bomber helps hide the
fact that I am wearing lingerie and also covers me so that I do not have any wardrobe malfunctions. If you are bold, and can style correctly, lingerie can be a part of your daily street style. However, if you are not confident that you could change the sexy
intimate into something for daily wear, save it for nights out. Playing with the integration of lingerie into your wardrobe is a fun way to make a statement, just be sure to not cross the line for a one way ride to trashy town.

Next time you feel like upping your style game, experiment with your unmentionables! Take this powerful and sexy risk to get everyone’s attention.

P.S. I hope the boys don’t think that we are wearing lingerie out for them… no, this is all about Girl Power!

I am a 21-year-old from Tulsa that is engulfed in a world of fashion. From modeling, styling, and writing about fashion I can say that I have lots of knowledge concerning the fashion industry. I am continuing to follow my passion of fashion at FIDM in Los Angeles, and plan to graduate December of 2018. I have big dreams of making my mark on the fashion industry. Eventually I hope my career allows me to live in Manhattan working in the industry that I love, and giving me the opportunity to travel the world for fashion weeks and other fashion related ventures.
